Ignorance is a tax on everything. Not knowing much about certain topic means that, by definition, you have more blind spots that cause you to make inefficient decisions.
- Having your money in low-yield financial products because of ignorance, or a lack of desire to learn.
- Paying more for things when traveling abroad because of the (natural) ignorance of not knowing what to do in that new city.
